Well we went skiing last night, at Lab and I hated it... Hard packed with little powder on top... Not for the beginner skier! I fell 3 times, and took Brian down once (Tom thinks he pushed me first ;0) One fall popped my skies off even! I feel a bruise in the making... But It's Spring time , so I don't mind the end of the ski season... We're Snow Champs of North America is on the cover of The Post-Standard: Total Snow Fall for Winter 2006-2007 is 129.5 (normal to date is 101.2 ). Along with Record Warmth: 27.7 average with normal being 25.9. Hmm, where is it today? First day of Spring and it's FREEZING out. Bring on the sunshine and let the sap run, for Maple Syrup Breakfast is around the corner!

Well this could very well be our last trip to Labrador Mtn. for the season. Our trip to Bristol Mtn . was great fun on Sunday; we hope to make it a regular event next year. Spring has Arrived!

Ok, We survived Day Light Savings; in spite of the little warning. Especially seeing this became a Bush 'law' in 2005 to save on energy. Yet, every IT shop around the global needed to update all their Hardware and Software to make it happen. The DST push only started this year, queuing up for it... Cost the Businesses sector a pretty penny I bet. And leave it to Microsoft! All my MS Outlook Calendar entries gained an hour, when they had a date post 3/11/07 date; all had to be deleted and re-entered. So I missed a few appointments?!? Just another MS bug, we are used to that; aren't we?!? Not quite on the scale of Y2K, but close... I'm sure the Financial systems not updated for DST will be missing a few $$ here and there, on account of that that lost Hour! Plus, it left me exhausted; being robbed the hour sleep (but that's the same every year)... Sleepy in Syracuse, Rae

Ahh, a stomach bug has me down; and online from home... Good day to make the phone calls, straigthen out finances for the New Year 2007... Maybe even Taxes; ahh, but my stomach already hurts... Must recover first!

Again, not enough to keep me awake for the big finale... Guess I need to get out to the movies more often...As it was, another year and I only saw one of the Oscar contenders, ' Cars ', on DVD. I saw a show ' Breakfast with the Arts ' earlier on Sunday; now that was entertaining, all 4 critics choose different Best Movies, yet knew ' The Departed ' would win it... How about that 'Little Miss Sunshine' ? Might check that one out too; as 'The Departed' is too violent for my taste. I liked 'Cars' , but ' Happy Feet ' won... I want to see 'Pan's Labyrinth' ; still might, on DVD because I'm not sure if I want to spend the $$ on a movie with subtitles; I'll probably need a remote in hand for that one. ;0) Didn't Al Gore look heavier; I barely recognized his pudgy face... And I loved Celine Dion's dress and the tribute to honorary Oscar for composer Ennio Morricone. Love his music; and her voice... What ...

Now the work begins, the creativity flows, what to write? hmm.... Let me get some more coffee in me first... B ack T o B logging... hmm.... It didn't work; and that's because I'm having a bad hair day! I have an appointment at 3 today 'for the usual'. I missed my hair appointment last week due to lots of snow and an ice buildup causing a leaky roof. I felt I had to 'assist' the scrapping of the roof which amounted to snow covering both the front and back doors; so I figured the haircut could wait. Where were my priorities?!? I was wrong and now it's out of control, amazing what 1 extra growth week will do to your hair! Do only women get bad hair days?!?
